If you’re staying on top of the Google search blog you saw the big announcement they made this week an update to search that’s going to be focused on new tailored experiences for users they announced a couple of features that they’re rolling out but all are intrinsically related to how they give users a better experience, one of the really interesting things they talked about is a new feature that they’re beta testing called notes, the idea of notes is that users can go and give commentary give feedback that’s public and available to other Searchers that they’re going to be able to see in Search.

Now there’s a lot of interesting questions around this how will they regulate that content how will it impact rankings are we going to have notes influencers someday it’s all very interesting all in beta all experimental but I think this does continue to just show how much in Google is investing in that search journey and how much shift we’re going to see in 2024 really exciting really interesting.
